Counter Staff

We are hiring Counter Staff in Norfolk, VA! Baker’s Crust Artisan Kitchen is a specialty upscale casual dining concept that distinguishes itself from the competition by its innovative and creative menu. Responsibilities:

  1. Answer phones for customer service and orders
  2. Handling food orders for delivery service, pick-up/to-go orders
  3. Knowledge of all Baker’s Crust Artisan Kitchen's food and beverage menus.
  4. Be ready and willing to assist fellow team members and management as needed, including food prep, seating customers, and running food to tables
  5. Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude.
  6. Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude.

Requirements:

  1. Skilled listener and effective communicator; customer service experience a plus
  2. Maintain proper uniform standards.
  3. Ability to stand and walk for 8 to 10 hours, lift up to 55 lbs., and work in confined spaces.
  4. Understanding of food service health and safety rules.
  5. Ability to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system.
  6. Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
